Scarsdale Vets (Derby) including Pride Referrals has become the latest group to join Independent Vetcare (IVC).
“We’re delighted that Scarsdale have chosen to join us on our journey to develop a fantastic network of clinics and hospitals across the country, united in our common desire to deliver first class veterinary care, both to first opinion and referral clients,” comments Paul Cowling, UK CEO.
IVC’s Commercial Director Stuart Caton (MRCVS) comments,
“Scarsdale and Pride Referrals’ decision to join us is a ringing endorsement of IVC’s values and principles; we have always championed clinical excellence and local autonomy and our proven track record for delivering on our promise was a key factor in the process. Scarsdale group has an unrivalled reputation in the profession and the team provide such a high standard of care; Pride Referrals will be a vibrant part in our referral network and there is so much we can learn from their first-opinion sites, as well as their farm and equine clinic.”
John Turkington, Senior Partner of Scarsdale commented,
“Over the last few months we’ve been looking for the right ‘home’ for our group – and how Pride Referrals, our Farm & Equine Practice and our network of small animal first-opinion clinics would continue to run going forwards was very much at the forefront our mind. We needed to be certain that our award winning referral service would carry on in the same way it has up until now so that we can guarantee an ongoing quality of service that our referring practices have come to expect. Our diligence led us to conclude that IVC’s reputation for clinical excellence and keeping things relatively autonomous at a practice level, was truly deserved and we are convinced that this decision is in the best interests of all our staff and clients”.
Scarsdale Group consists of Pride Referral Hospital, a Farm and Equine Practice and 10 further veterinary practices in and around Derbyshire and Staffordshire.
