At Parkvets our Junior Vets are the backbone of our emergency and in-patient care. They are given formal guidance and support via their senior mentors, but also have the freedom to manage their busy caseload and work closely with their clients. When not on in-patient duty they cover shifts in the branches, the mobile unit and the hospital giving them exposure to all aspects of Parkvets’ life. Nights form a part of the junior vets’ role, with 4 nights worked in a block every 6 weeks.  Junior vets also work some or part of every other weekend.  If you are looking for a second job where you can hone your skills, find your place and really have an impact and career progression, then this entry to Parkvets could be ideal.   We have all the obvious equipment and facilities but most importantly, we have a team that works well together, looks out for each other and is still passionate about patient care.
