You will have 1-5 years of experience behind you so that you can take an active role in our strong, diverse and supportive team, working across all sites and shifts. You will get to know all the client groups and the support staff across the practice before most probably moving into a more predictable role for your 2nd job with Parkvets.
Diagnostics are an important part of our work and you will be encouraged to work up cases to the best of your ability before referring them internally if needed. Because the team is strong and supportive, your cases can remain under your management with input from colleagues if you wish. Parkvets actively supports the development of skills and knowledge through a CPD allowance and additional time off. Vets wanting to undertake a certificate will be given greater financial support and time.
Parkvets has all the equipment you would expect of a hospital along with separate cat and dog wards, 3 theatres, 2 dental suites, 2 imaging areas and a visiting MRI. You will work every other weekend and be part of our second on call rota OOH.
