Small Animal Practices

Small Animals

You’re well informed, you’re qualified and you’re experienced. You became a vet because you care about pets and you want to provide owners with the best advice, to deliver the best consults, administer the best treatments and often save animals’ lives.
At Independent Vetcare, we believe that the best practices are those led by clinicians. That’s why for each practice in our group, we can take care behind the scenes so the vets can take care of the pets.

    Your Place of Work

Staff, owners and pets feel at ease in spacious and peaceful surroundings. That’s why we invest in our practices to ensure their waiting areas stay well maintained and their consult rooms are equipped with up-to-date facilities, such as CT Scanners. We will also assist you with external refurbishments and relocations, along with the addition or acquisition of new sites and surgeries when you’re looking to expand your business. Our procurement team can help to secure you a better deal on your day-to-day costs, from both a clinical and an operational point of view, so whether it’s the cost of medicines or the cost of your phone bill, we can ensure that you aren’t paying more than you need to.

You’ll be able to participate in our national Pet Health Club but your signage, name and branding will remain true to you, and to your place in the local community. We can secure the longevity of your business and make sure that after you retire, the veterinary surgeons at your practice will have the resources to progress into Clinical Director roles.

    Your IVC Family

IVC leadership and development courses bring together clinical directors across the board and offer leadership and coaching skills. Our Clinical Director meetings are held at various locations across the country and all CDs are invited to share ideas they have about the next steps in the field of small animal treatment. Our regular group marketing meetings cover different topics each time and are a great chance for vets and nurses to offer their input and exchange ideas when it comes to current initiatives and marketing techniques/tactics. They are held on different dates and venues so you can attend on your own terms and participate in your own way.
